Mumble Voice

Mumble is a Voice System that has found its way to Opensim since a while.

We recently found a few modules they are working on to make that possible....

The package is called Whisper and can be downloaded here

The installation is easy:

CLOSE YOUR VIEWER !!!

Install that package inside your current viewer path. For example:

C:\Program Files\Imprudence\ C:\Program Files\Hippo Viewer\

Check the folder, so you are SURE it's correct.

When the package is installed, you can switch between Mumble and SL-Voice by going inside the folder where you installed it and executing one of these files:

use_sl_voice.bat <- for SL-Voice use_whisper_voice.at <- for Whisper

You can create a Desktop shortcut to these files if you want.

ATTENTION: ON WINDOWS 7 SYSTEMS YOU HAVE TO EXECUTE THESE FILES WITH ADMINISTRATOR PERMISSIONS !!!!! (Also when your creating Shortcuts)

Once all of this is done start your Viewer and enable voice.
